If you need me, look inside

This is as of 8:30 this morning. I am not going anywhere.

I was going to do the shopping I didn't do this weekend. But, nope, this kind of air would make my poor COPD'd lungs cry. And still there is nothing on the list that is critical. So inside is lovely.

Many people who knit and crochet, do it to have lovely knitted and crocheted things. Many others do it because they love the process of knitting or crocheting. I've come to learn that I do it because I love to start shit. I love planning and thinking about a project and then getting it going to prove I can do what I thought up in my head. Sadly, I rarely get to the end point, it seems. Knitters and crocheters have acronyms they love - LYS: local yarn shop, SABLE: stash accumulated beyond life expectancy, UFO: unfinished object, WIP: work in progress.

I have a house full of the latter and several UFO's. (UFO's are WIP's that you've given up on totally.)

So, yep, yesterday I started another. I saw a tweet about an article on ROYGBIV... this is an entry of acronyms all of a sudden! I didn't read the article but I do love a good rainbow pallette - Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet = ROYGBIV. [EDIT. I left out the Blue! Thanks runeshower]

I went to the Wall o' Yarn and found the skeins I needed.

And then I proceeded to spend nearly 4 solid hours 'painting' options in a spreadsheet. I finally settled on...

Last night, I got started...

So that's pretty much what I'll be doing today, I think. That and waiting for xina_g to post more pictures of her new kittens.
