Whole Foods did not have the tortillas I like and the ones they did have were too weird so I decided to make a frittata instead. I pulled out a good sized pan and then proceeded to make more frittata than pan and ended up with a mess but it's in the fridge now and will go into the oven tomorrow, once those bread cubes are all soaked up.
My Mariner season tickets just arrived. Sigh. They do such a nice job of packaging them. And they are so pretty. And so mocking me.
When I came back up from getting the package, I heard 'How are you?' from down the hall. I looked and it was a woman who has lived down there now for a good 15 years and with whom I've exchanged nearly zero words ever. She's a local news reporter so I've always known who she was but our paths really have never crossed enough for conversation. But, clearly today she wanted to chat, from a distance. Very kindly. And then she said 'well, if you need anything please do let me know. I'm going into work every day and can easily pick you up nearly anything. I really mean it.' And, honestly, I think she did. It was really nice of her and I was touched.
I actually thought this morning that we should have some kind of communal help plan... I could have easily picked up something for someone at Whole Foods this morning. But, our resident to resident communications has always sucked and now more than ever. Oh well.
I also did three loads of laundry including the bathroom rugs. And did a bit of vacuuming and took all the trash, garbage and recycling down to the dumpsters. The kitchen still needs a clean up and I'm going to do that next and then sit down and watch some TV.
