Sunday morning

I am not a very good hair cutter. Especially my own hair. I get it right about 1 times out of 20 and I don't even have a good hat wearing scheme. My general plan for bad haircut is fuck it. If I pay a person to cut my hair and it's bad, that's a different story but if I give myself a lot more latitude and the price is right.

Yesterday, I did a little trim only to discover that I'd kind of gouged an area on one side so last night I tried to fix it. Bad mistake. BUT this morning, when I got out of the shower after my swim, I figured out how to style it so the damage kind of looks intentional! Except for one spot. It looks like I carved an em-dash about an inch from the hairline on my neck. I'm just going with it. Street cred? You can call me EmDashDennis.

This was after the great swim I had this morning. For some reason I was way faster than usual. Sundays are usually plagued with sunlight coming in and blinding me every half lap. Today it waited til I was nearly done. Thanks, Sun.

Then I went to Trader Joe's and remembered to look at my list. Go Me!!

When I got back home, I parked out in front on the street for easier access to the condo's front door. There is no charge for parking on Sundays and no games/events in any of the stadiums today so the place closest to our front door was just sitting there empty. I have lots of Goodwill donations and that's the easiest way to get them to the car. Glad I remembered. It's way easier to get stuff into the car when it's on the street than down in my below-street-level garage. And street parking does not go back in effect until tomorrow morning, a couple of hours after I'll be back from the gym. Cooleo.

So, I'll do a little shelf clearing today. Maybe fill up one more bag. The Smart Car has its capacity limits. Then probably TV and knitting.

Sunday mornings R Us...
