I did two loads of laundry and folded it and put everything away. I made a new pair of pajama bottoms. I redid my nail gel. GLITTER!!
I decided to get an elcheapo Mint Mobile account for my old Nexus 6P. I got the sim today and put it into the 6P and then discovered it had Swollen Battery Syndrome. This is the second time I've had this happen to a phone. The phone starts to split apart. I spent an enormous amount of time researching fixes. Pay people, do it myself, etc. Finally I decided to take it in $80 and change for a fix. Before I pulled the trigger, I texted my brother asking him if he knew about the fix it place and if $80 and change was reasonable. He said he did not and yes, it sounded reasonable.
Had I looked at refurbs? Doh!
Found a Pixel (the phone just after the 6P) refurb with 90 day warranty for $90 on Amazon. Sold!
A year or so ago, my brother broke his working phone and was looking into options and I suggested a refurb. He got one and it lasted perfectly for at least a year and was actually still going when he upgraded to brand new (because features).
What goes around comes around in a very good way.
I called the gym this afternoon. Front Desk Frank answered and said that the pool is closed until at least Saturday. I guess I'll call on Saturday and see if Sunday has a chance.
Oh they had the door open to the unit that had the most water damage. The one that the owner told me was uninhabitable. They are still inhabiting it. I'm sure they had significant damage but from what I could see, down the hall into the living room, the damage must be confined to one area. The rest looked fine. Still a PIA but at least not as tragic as I thought.
The Smalls on top of the scraps under the serger table. (I am so grateful they do not shed!)
And Biggie is checking out the raincoat that needed mending...
