Routines

I love routines. I always have but the older I get the better I love them. Get out of bed, feed the cats, grab water from the fridge, get on the treadmill. I have four more days of this.

Then the routine will change back to get out of bed, get into swimsuit, go to pool.

I have extra incentive to figure out how to wedge the treadmill into a different routine. The book I'm listening to while I treadmill has 11 hours left. It's due back to the library in 12 days. I generally can only listen for a half hour at night before I fall asleep. So... Treadmill and book is really the best way to ensure I get to the last word. I'll need to figure out something.

I've actually enjoyed my no swim month. I sure didn't expect to. I'm ready to go back but if I didn't, I don't think it would be the end of the world.

I'm still getting up early which gives me massive time to putter around the internet and drink my coffee and eat breakfast at a leisurely pace because nothing is open yet so even if I had something I wanted to do, I could not anyway. I do love my mornings.

Today I think I'm going to make a Trader Joe's trip. The easiest TJ's to get to from here is the one right across the street from the pool. I can't think of anything else I need or want from other that way so I guess the trip will be a one off.

But I am grimy so first, a shower.
