Last Summer there was one afternoon game in late August that was not only hot sun but smoke from forest fires and I even gave my ticket away. I went to one afternoon game year before last on a hot Summer day and it was just miserable. My ticket block is 20 games - I don't mind that I can't pick which game except, I'd dearly love if there were no hot afternoon options.
Anyway, now it's looking like the 4th will be full sun in the high 70's. Ugh. So what to wear. I need my arms covered as well as the back of my neck but also ventilation. So I designed a new top this morning while I swam. I'm pretty sure it's going to look very weird but I care more about comfort this time.
So I'll be working on that today. I think I have everything I need in house to make the shirt.
Yesterday I did, in fact, fire up a couple of apps and did pull together a stretching session. I managed to do something not fun to my right torso and hit my poor knee again. I fell on the knee about a month ago and whenever it starts to heal up properly, I hit it again. It and I are really weary of this routine.
Because it's easier when you have someone to blame, I'm holding fansee directly responsible for the hours I've lost recently. A week or so ago she included in her journal entry the amount of time she'd wasted on three phone games. One was a bubble shooter that reminded me that it had been a while since I'd played a good bubble shooter. It took a bit of trial and error until I found the one that was right for me. Turns out it was Bubble Bust 2.
Most phone games have no appeal to me. Especially the ones that are the most popular. But, every once in a while I get one that just grabs me. Bubble Bust 2 has me in its grips now. I know, after a while, I'll break free but for now, I say a very sarcastic Thanks, fansee.
