All done and yeah!!

It turned out that the two person crew they hired to do the work was just exceptional. They not only took down the stained glass very carefully, turns out they paid close attention to how it was hung so that putting it back was easy with no trial and error. The window sill is fixed and painted and done. YEAH!!

Meanwhile I finished up the pocket project. The last three shirts I added pockets two were ones I made two years ago when I was experimenting with different seam treatments and before I had a serger. Each of them had different seaming methods. On one, it turned out, I'd used a weird machine stitch in a very matching thread and it took me a long time to noodle out why the stitches wouldn't unpick.

So, I decided to start a notebook of each project. I should have done this two years ago but did not. I am now. And the first project is a simple, short, fleece hoodie. I am kind of making it up as I go along because I wanted it to be a Mariner hoodie and I had less than a yard of Mariner fleece. But I had a yard of red fleece that will work fine with. It has to be short because the jacket zipper I have is 18". Plus I wanted it short.

I did not want to have to go to any fabric store because I'd just buy shit I don't need. So way better to make do with what I have. If I love it, then I can go buy quality stuff and make it again.

My brother has two Nest cams. One shows his driveway and the street in front of his house and the other shows the lot next door where they are building two houses. I keep them up on the monitors across the room. I love watching them.

But now I have a mystery on my hands. My sister-in-law's car has been missing since Sunday. She got in (no luggage or anything) on Sunday about mid-day and drove away. I easily could have missed her return but the car, for sure, has not been back. On Tuesday, in a text, my brother mentioned she was with him in Austin. But, that's the only clue I've had about her and none about the car.

Yeah, I could ask. But, that would kill the intrigue immediately. So I just watch and wonder.

I saw yesterday that CBS is going to air Season 1 of The Good Fight on CBS regular TV. Apparently Les Moonves was the one who decreed the cement wall between CBS Interactive and regular CBS never be breached but since we got rid of him, smarter heads are prevailing. I wonder what they will do with the profanity? I've still not seen Season 3 but I'm damn sure not going to wait until it comes to CBS. Probably in a week or so, I'll pony up for CBS Interactive and binge it. Such good TV. I also have Season 2 of Killing Eve recorded and not watched. And Season 2 of Unforgotten. Lots of good stuff in my future.
