So. I got up this morning and was ready to get into the pool. I could either wait an hour for my gym pool to open or 2 hours to drive 20 minutes to the city pool and swim a little then take the class. I voted for the gym. I missed it. There is nothing like taking a day off to make that first push off the wall heaven. The water felt so good.

They are doing some kind of maintenance on the pool next week. Not on the pool itself but on the room that houses the pool. So it's going to be closed on Tuesday. This does not suit my schedule. I have a Diamond Club game Tuesday night so will not be swimming on Wednesday. Two days off? It wouldn't be the end of the world but I'd rather not. There's another city pool that is closer than the really great one so I might try it on Tuesday.

My new car gadget is really nice. It delivers a tone when I turn on the car and so I am remembering to test it out. It is confused about using Spotify or Google Music but those are nits we'll work out. I do love, though, that it hooks right up and also has a button I can push if Hey Google fails (which it hasn't yet). On the downside, my phone is not know on an unlimited plan. Well, that's not really true. It's free after I use up 6 GB. Before that it's $10 a GB. Plus $20. I have been using about a half a GB and my bill, with taxes has been about $30. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the total.

In other news. My broken toe is, apparently neither broken or fatal and does not hurt nearly as much as it did yesterday. The grim reaper is going to have to try harder.

Today's agenda is TV and crochet, I think with maybe some reading thrown in. I stopped by the grocery on the way home from the pool so there's groceries to put away as well. And the ballgame at 6.
