On the bright side, at the end of a game like that, there's no long line in the ladies room for a pre-trip home pee. Erica and Julie, who sit next to me, left in the 6th inning. By the bottom of the 9th, there were only a handful of us left.
My swim the morning was excellent. I followed it with a couple of quick errands. I kind of needed a haircut. But I didn't want my usual cut it and then grow it for 4 months. I wanted about 6 weeks off the top. Maybe. So I made a deal with myself, if, when I passed the hair cut place, there was parking, I'd stop. Otherwise, I'd just let it grow.
There was parking. The reception lady said that if not all of her 10 am apps showed, she could get me in. Then a really cute, really young guy came in right behind me and she gave him the same spiel. We waited and, sure enough, no shows. So she called us over. I was faster and he allowed "besides, she has a better shirt". I'm wearing my green and blue and orange dragon shirt. Everyone within earshot looked and all voted my shirt the best. Nice.
I love the fabric but the top is not my favorite. I did see that JoAnne's has it on sale. I may just buy more and use a better pattern.
I'm now finishing coffee and I need to get a move on. I need to do laundry and organized so my brother can sleep in the sewing room starting Monday. I have a bunch of other little things that I want to do before they get here.
They got to Seatac last night and got a rental car this morning to drive to Bremerton for the concert tonight.
Meanwhile, there's a baseball game here this afternoon and Kenny Chesney is doing a concert in the football stadium at 5. Happily I have no where I have to go til the pool tomorrow morning.
