The day after the day after DST starts

There was a huge crowd waiting for the gym to open this morning. It was the normal Tuesday people plus all the Monday people who suffered from daylight savings time yesterday. Even the pool was crowded for a while. Tomorrow, I suspect we'll go back to normal.

I did manage to get a fair amount done yesterday including an interesting Costco run. I went directly to the gas pump and then to the car wash. The line was huge but it moved pretty quickly. I'd never done the Costco car wash but had had it recommended to me several times. I thought you paid at the gas pump but, no, you don't even need to get gas to get washed. Good to know. $8. Pretty good wash. My car's ass is hard to get clean and I'm not sure why. Probably because it's so close to my car's nose. hehehe Smart Car humor.

Anyway after the wash, I left it to dry in the sun and went into the store and got a hotdog for lunch. And that was it. No actual buying of goods. It was quite a nice little trip. Nice bit of walking. My tracker was very happy. I may repeat.

And I made 6 breakfast burritos. I just had one and delish.

And I started making a red jacket. It's almost a sweater. Either way, I think I'm going to love it. I'll finish it today.

Today marks five years since Zoey came to live here. It was estimated she was 4 years old at the time. She's been an excellent cat. I keep thinking about getting a second one but with her, there's really no reason to. So here's to maybe 5 more years?

The only thing on the agenda today is to catch that package coming in from Roaman's and turn it right around with a Return To Sender.

I also want to figure out some kind of sewing pattern catalogue. I did that whole database thing for patterns and fabric but it turned out to be not at all useful. So now I need to find something else. It may be just a Google Doc. I haven't decided.

First, though, I need to get dressed.
