Switch flipped

As I sit here looking outside, it looks like a typical January day out there. This time last week it was Africa hot. Now it's dead of Seattle winter. I spent so many years in the southeast part of the United States where seasons change over about a six week period. I've lived here for more than 25 years and so I get that it doesn't take six weeks but I don't think I've ever seen the switch flipped like this. Amazing.

And I'm loving the wind and rain and clouds so much. It's energizing!

Tomorrow evening is going to be just like this evening. Cold and windy and raining. And it's my final Mariner evening game. I finally get to wear my Mariner coat! And, I guess, I'll wear my boots, too! And maybe toss some gloves in the kit. It will be way better than that 95 degree day game in the sun, that's for sure!

My last game is Saturday and it's in the afternoon. The forecast now is showing overcast all afternoon. Nice.

My printer wanted new toner today. For the first time since I got it in April. Not bad - 5 months and I've done a whole lotta printing. I was a little anxious about putting in new toner but, turned out to be a no brainer. Way easier than ink jet cartridges. Which often didn't work right the first time. And toner is also way cheaper. I have to say that this printer was one of the best purchases I've made.
