Last night we had a wonderful dinner at a high end Japanese restaurant that I've wanted to try for a while. It was a great experience. My brother dabbles in pottery and their bowls were amazing and made in a place in Japan that he knows all about. It was an extra treat.

This morning, I got up and went to the pool and had a great swim. We did a lot lot LOT of walking yesterday and my back was still sore. The swim totally fixed it. I went earlier than usual and got caught in a bit of traffic coming home but it wasn't a problem.

Bill was all showered and ready when I got home and we lit out for breakfast on top of Queen Anne. It was a bit of a disappointment but lesson learned. Then we went to the nicest pot shop in town which was packed to the gills. In spite of the fact that it was mid-morning on a weekday on the corner of an intersection blocked nearly entirely by construction. We asked the guy if the line was always that long and he said most of the time they were packed and if we wanted to shop and ask questions, the best time was when they first opened in the morning - 8 a.m. We'll go back early tomorrow or Friday.

We drove around to see stuff and did and then ran a couple of errands and spent a long time in RePC which is always fun for me and he'd never been in the store. It did not disappoint.

He wants to fix the caulking behind my kitchen sink so we went off to Home Depot and got stuff for him to fix that and the undermount lighting in the kitchen.

Now we're home having a drink and watching CES podcasts. Next up Jaks steak house for dinner.
