There's no predicting...

On Saturdays and Sundays the gym doesn't open until 8. I usually get there about 5 to 10 minutes before 8. Usually, they unlock the doors a few minutes early. Yesterday, there was one other guy there when I went in. I swam for a little more than an hour. During that time two people came into the pool but neither lasted for more than 15 minutes. But, when I walked out of the locker room after, the joint was packed. More people were in there working on machines and treadmills and floor pads at one time than I'd ever seen before. When I got down to the parking garage, which always has plenty of parking, there was a guy driving around looking for a space and there weren't any available! It was weird.

Today, there was one other guy when they unlocked the doors. He turned out to be a swimmer. And then there were more. All three lanes had 2 swimmers for most of my hour and, when I got out, there were two people waiting. But, there was nearly no one in the actual gym part. So very weird.

My latest suit works beautifully. I have no more swim suit fabric in house... yet. So there will be no swim suit making today and maybe no sewing. There also won't be any going out in the car. There's a Seahawks game at 5:30 and no rain so the unruly fans will be here early and loudly. Many of the tailgaters already had their party started when I came home from the pool. They will be drinking all day - fun times in the 'hood.

I should and might hit the streets for, at a minimum, a walk around the block. I always say that and rarely do it and I really do need to. I need a firecracker under my ass.
