Sauna swim

The first 15 minutes of my swim today were fine and then something when whacko. The two ends of the pool got blasted with hot water. So you swam through hot water and then cold water and then hot water. I mean spa hot. Not fun at all.  So I spent a lot of my swim working on Plan B. What if I got to the gym one morning and the pool was closed? What would I do?  There is a city pool in West Seattle but it does not open for laps until noon. And it's always too hot. So I think probably what I would do it just go up to the other LA Fitness in Ballard. It's a not very easy half hour away...

So when I got home I did more looking and turns out I have lots of choices of LA Fitnesses with pools. There are three about 20 minutes south of  mine and 4 or 5 20-30 minutes north. So if I ever got there and the pool was closed, I'd just take a deep breath, get in the car and go to another one. No biggie at all.

Every once in a while, I think about moving to someplace else but, then I remember things like having a bunch o' swimming options available to me every day as well as the best library system in the county and other stuff that even in my isolated life are pretty critical to health and happiness. I'm happy just right here.

I never seriously consider moving at all. I just play with the idea.

One last hand picture:

8 am 10 am 2 pm Day 2 Day 3 Day 4

Clearly my whole bruise picture is changing and for the better. So... YEAH.

And... I remembered to get gas. Go me.
