Well, the wrist alarm is not infallible... It went off at 6 and I woke up at 6:45. No biggie at all because I wanted to go to the pool later to see if the traffic is easier to maneuver. Spoiler alert... it really is- a lot easier. Now I know.

My blinds did not get lowered this morning and I forgot to check so on one of the hottest days of the year, my living room and air conditioner got a nice does of Africa hot sun. arugh Right now - 11:30 - it's 96 on my terrace and 75 (whew) in the living room.

I have a new thing with my feet. They will not tolerate must shoes. They like my Keen sandals and my Skeecher's loafers (I have spares of these). And original Crocs, not knockoffs. Anything else is painful. Yesterday I tried a pair with good arch support. In the walk from my house to the car and the car to the gym and pool, they fucked up my right foot. There's some muscle that runs from my middle toe to my ankle that just has a fit. Last night, if I forgot and flexed my foot, it stayed hurting for an hour. I can still feel a little of it today. I had better not outlive the shoes I have now.

The bear lady asked me to bring the current crop on Tuesday so there will be more time to add to the pile. I'll take the photo on Monday. That will work out fine.

I have a hundred dollar charge on my credit card that is missing. It showed up under 'pending' for a day a week ago but hasn't been seen since. It's the weirdest thing. I'm going to give it another couple of days and then call Chase. I wonder if they didn't put it in someone else's account.
