This morning I woke up when my fitness band said it was a good time to wake up which turned out to be shortly before the alarm went off. I had coffee and internets. I changed the sheets on the bed and swapped out the quilt just for a change.
Then I went to the pool and swam for 75 glorious minutes. I had the pool to myself. It also occurred to me that one of the many things I like about this pool over the city pool is no kids. Not only no kids anywhere but, also, no kid things or accommodations. It's all adult all the time. And the showers have great water pressure and stops when you turn it off. And the locker room is lovely and quiet (again, no kids or screeching) and the towels, which I do not have to carry back and forth or wash, are nice and clean and thirsty.
After the pool, I went to the manicure place. It's now my third time and when I walked in the door, they all said 'Hi Susan!'. Yeah, my name was on the appointment book but, still, it's a lovely gesture that I totally appreciate. They do such a good job. And my nails are now orangy with subtle sparkles.
I stopped at MacDonalds because I was starving and I can tap and pay with my phone. That's got to stop.
Once home, I checked TiVo. It lost its internet connection last night just before bed. I rebooted the router even though I was sure that wasn't the problem and went to bed. Today, it was still bitching. Finally I remembered the wifi extender. I've used a wifi extender for TiVo for a long time but, they were all so bad that I was always having to fuck with them. Then, last March I got a new one - this time a top of the line - and I haven't had a problem with it. It's operated flawlessly since the day I installed it. It took me a while to figure out even how to access it. I rebooted that and BAM, TiVo is instantly happy again.
As soon as the lunch rush is over, I'm going to walk over to the teryiaki place. I'll get dinner for tonight and tomorrow plus get more dots on my fitness bands - win win!
