At least I've quit needing naps in the daytime. I think that was a result of poor Summer sleeping at night. Now that it's cool enough for good night sleeps, I can stay awake all day.
A relatively inexpensive tablet that I bought in October ran out of battery a couple of days ago and refused to charge. I kind of liked it but didn't love it and it's still in the Amazon return window so back it goes. And for even cheaper, I found a refurbished Samsung tablet that I've wanted for a while at New Egg so I ordered it.
So this morning I need to pack the return up and get it down to the UPS Out box in the garage before the UPS guy comes usually early afternoon.
A reader of this journal left a comment yesterday that planted an idea in my head... About meals. I still eat roughly on the 3 meals a day plus snacks plan. And I really do eat way too much. I'm thinking about trying to establish a new routine. I'm thinking a proper breakfast about 9:30/10ish with an early dinner. I am well aware of the grazing or 5 small meals a day plan but what happens is that I eat all day PLUS lunch and dinner. So I'm going to try a new plan. Starting today. With breakfast.
And with Chef Anita coming Tuesday, my fridge/freezer is getting empty. I think a pizza will hold me over nicely until she comes to make all new dinners. So I'll stop after my swim and pick one up to bake for that early dinner.
Nothing else much going on today. Yesterday while looking for something I never did find, I found a bunch of pillowcases that I thought I'd taken to Goodwill. I refit some to work with my very small pillows but I want more and now, with the newly found cache, I can bust out the sewing machine and whip up a few. This may happen today.
Or not. I'm retired. I don't have to commit.
