Something in the air

Starting yesterday afternoon, I've felt something in the air in my living room. It feels like the aftermath of a dust storm that just won't clear out. Weird. And it's still here.  It feels like it should make my breathing more difficult but it's really not.  It's just annoying.  I feel like I need a nose filter. I might seriously tie an old t-shirt over my nose before the day isout.

I met seattlejo for brunch this morning and we had a great chat. We went to Ma'Ono in West Seattle. I had their always fabulous Croque Madame but it wasn't so fabulous this morning. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't fabulous. The visit, however, was beyond fabulous.

I was afraid that I would run into traffic trying to get home since the baseball stadium is in between here and there so I did not make any stops on the way home and while the action was mighty aroudn the stadium, it was more fun than annoying. I appreciated the little backup so I could get a good look at all the goings ons.

I noticed towards the end of last week that getting out of the pool - going from effortless floating to gravity of air - was taking less and less effort.  Today, when I came in and climb the stairs from where I park to where the elevator lobby, I noticed that those stairs took less effort as well. Interesting and oh so welcoming. I'd love to be able to do more stuff.  I blame COPD but probably a lot of my issue is the lazy/outofshape combo.

Big/last game is about to start.
