I think we have a plan!!

So I've been using left over bear bits to crochet hexagons with no clear plan of what to do with the ever growing pile of hexagons.  I finally noodled out a plan but an afternoon of attempts to execute failed fairlly miserably.  I decided to join them together with a small black border but the border had to be crochet - not sewing and it had to be mindless.  But all of my attempts were too difficult and looked like crap. So I decided to try a different weight/feel of yarn. It finally came today and all is good.

This is what I came up with...

I only did the four sides but that's enough to let me know that 1. it will look like I want it to, 2. it will lay ike I want it to, 3. it's a very simple stitch that will be easy to do and, so, therefore it will get done.

Nice. I'll probably start putting it together in between bears - maybe a few a day. At least until I get critical mass. I think I'm shooting for bedspread size (my bed - a double).

Glad to have a plan that I know will work.
