Ya Don't Know What You've Got Til It's Gone

I feel great. I feel so great that it's only now I realize that for the past few days, I've really felt crummy!  Tired and laggy and no appetite but eating anyway so bloated and generally uncomfortable. I kind of knew it but at my age you (or at least I) kind of have a tendency to accept aches and pains and stuff as That's The Way It Is.

But, what it it Was is now gone - at least for a while.  Wild. And... excellent.

I have had a lovely day. It turned out to be not nearly as hot out as I had imagined. There was enough of a breeze to make it not horrible. So my walk to lunch and back was doable. I had a great fun visit with Madalene. Coming back was harder because even though I was tired, I wanted to stop at the ATM so I kind of added on another block.  When I got home, I just felt really tired so I laid down for about 30 minutes. I might have slept some. I hate naps. I always feel so groggy when I get up.  But, today, after the groggy cleared, I realized that I felt great.

And now that I really think about it, I've felt the same kind of not great in my recent swims. Stuff hurt here and there that does not usually hurt. Especially my back. All feels good now. I'm looking more forward to tomorrow's swim than usual. And not only because my new suits arrived today!
