Wednesday

I'm still fighting computer issues but now I'm thinking that maybe Comcast is at the root of them after all. They keep changing my IP address every night now and it's making me a little nuts.

This morning's swim was lovely. It's such a good way to start the day.  The rest of today is pretty much going to be baseball. It's a double header and the rare back to back variety.  They will play one game starting at noon and then start the second one after a short intermission.  Baseball double headers are not as common as they used to be and most are what they call Day/Night or split. The day game and night game are two separate games for which you generally need two separate tickets. But continuous, like today's deal, are more fun for everyone. So cool.

I just realized that this never got finished or posted. Hmmmm  I wrote it about 8:30 am.

It's now 2:15 and we're in inning 6 of the first game of the double header. My cable internet is up and operational but my cable TV is a  went out about 30 minutes ago.  Sigh.  While my internet has had massive issues lately (that may or may not be Comcast's) my TV very rarely EVER goes out. I don't even remember the last time. I just checked the Comcast site and learned there is an outage they know about.  So, hopefully, they are fixing it.  At least I have the baseball game on my phone via the MLB app.

I got a timer to turn my router on and off at periodic intervals. It was easy to program the on off times. I set it to go off at 2 pm.  It did.  I set it to come back on at 2:01.  It didn't.  Maybe it wasn't so easy after all.  There are lots of very helpful reviews with instructions in Amazon's listing. Off now to read them more closely.

I really do think more things fuck up when you have time to mess with them.

On the up side, the laundry is done and folded and put away.
