Cooking day

Chef Anita will be here momentarily.  Today's menu is:

  • Breaded Pan-Fried Pork Chops and Broccoli with Caramelized Onions and Oranges

  • Seafood Casserole and Grapefruit Avocado Salad

  • Vietnamese-Style Beef with Garlic, Black Pepper and Lime

  • Spinach, Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Pasta Shells with Caesar Salad

  • Chicken Nacho Pot Pie

This is about a dozen dinners. Yum.

I was emptying the dishwasher this morning and all of a sudden just got tired of not having cabinet room. I do not have dinner guests. I do not need 12 dinner plates, 18 salad plates, 4589 bowls cluttering up my cabinets so I did a bit of culling.  This stack is going into the terrace cupboards for six months.  If, at the end of 6 months, I don't use any of it, it will all go to Goodwill.  (And, yeah, I'm not big on matching dishware.)

But, before I put them out on the terrace, I need to get the giant box of cables that I put out there temporarily and sort them all into the empty waiting bins. So, that's today's on today's agenda.  I like to have plans while Anita is here.  When the terrace job is done, I'll work on my website cleanup project.

In the middle, I'll go swimming and I need to stop at the drugstore for more bandages. Maybe if I for sure get a supply of everything, I'll never need any of them again.  Yeah, right.
