This morning's swim was the last early morning one until the pool reopens. I've been making such a BFD about this pool closure.  It's closes on Sunday, the 23rd and stays closed until Monday, March 10.  For some reason in my lame brain, I translated this to 3 weeks which was tragic.  Turns out it's only 2 weeks which moves it clearly into the nobigdeal realm.  My focus is so skewed.

But, I did manage to enjoy the swim today and there's another tomorrow.  And I have a city full of other pools to pick from for the next two weeks and if I don't swim for two weeks the world will - I'm guessing - not end.  In fact, a check of the latest city wide pool schedules show that every single one one of them is open at noon for lane swimming.  So I may just do a different pool every day for lunch.  In any event, I am going to quit stressing about it right now.

I can see my new computer on the bench at my brother's shop via his webcam.  I think they have it all loaded up and ready and are now planning the finishing touches.  I heard them this morning discussion
green stripes
g plans for battening it down for shipping.  My brother was telling Amy (his tech) that after she finished tightening all the screws inside, to paint them with colored nail polish.  That way, when it gets here, I will be able to tell at a glance whether any of them got loose in shipping.  Genius!!

The computer is all black with lime (although the screen shot off the webcam doesn't look so lime but really, it is) colored lights.  I think the fans - there are three! - are also lime green. There are also lime accents on the mother board.  But the slot covers on the back are silver.  So...  They got my sister-in-law, who is a spray paint Queen, to fix that problem.  The extra strips are now a fashion statement themselves!

I love that they are taking such time and care with making it so special.  I can't wait for it to get here.

For nearly a month now, I have had router issues.  No connection, some connection, slow connection...  I did a factory reset and it got a bit better but still issues.  Yesterday I got a new router.  My plan was to install it today.  Since the new router arrived, I have had Zero issues with the old one.  You cannot tell me this is coincidence.  Since simply having a new/different router at the ready appears to have  fixed the problem, I'm tempted to stop there.  But, I guess I won't.  I guess I'll go ahead and install the new one.

But, first I need some breakfast.
