Then I downloaded a very small, simple program called Copy Trans Manager. This little puppy gives me a fast list of what's on the Shuffle and allows me to easily move my own mp3's onto and off the little player. So if I decide to keep it, I'll at least be able to use it in every way I want without iTunes. Nice.
I also bought fancy-ish waterproof earbuds sold as a bundle with the waterproof shuffle.
So today's swim will be an interesting test. I need to remember to put my regular earbuds and player by the side of the pool in case the test goes south - no reason to ruin a good swim, too! If the Shuffle ends up working out then the only other problem I anticipate is keeping track of the tiny thing. It's about the size of a quarter and I can easily see it getting lost really easily. I need to see if I can figure out a way to tag it with a waterproof ID of some kind.
My new boots arrived yesterday from Zappos. Three of the four pair are quite tempting. I kept trying them out yesterday and racking up the pros and cons of each. I added one more pair to the mix and it comes today. I really only want to keep one pair but deciding which one is turning out to be not quite that easy. Maybe the one that comes today will nail it.
Joni Mitchell is 70?? Wow. It cracks me up that I'm always so surprised when people my age or older are so old.
Today I need to stop at the library and maybe Walgreens before the pool opens at 11.
Tonight is the 1st Thursday art walk in my neighborhood. I usually ignore it but tonight is the last night for my favorite gallery. They are closing and they have stuff on sale. I'm very torn. I'd love to browse one more time but I'm pretty sure I would not be able to browse for free. I don't have room on my walls and I don't want to fall in love with art I don't have room for or want to spend money on. I think I'll wait and make a snap decision about going...
