I watched one of the swimming DVD's last night and today tried to pay closer attention to what I was doing. Turns out, I'm pretty much doing it right. I did solve a mystery, I think. My right arm has always gotten more tired than the rest of me almost bordering on sore. Which is weird because it's the arm that does the least amount of work, really. But today I finally noticed why. When I get to the end of the pool, I reach out with my right hand and pull myself around with it. And, usually not gently or slowly. I'm wearing it down! I then tried to use my left hand for the job and that kind of worked. I'm going to study turns on the DVD's today. There's no way I'll ever be doing the flip turn that the pros do, but maybe I can find a better way anyway.
The new Brandy Clark album isn't fabulous - at least not so far. I need to hear it more. She co-wrote my favorite song Follow Your Arrow that Kasey Musgraves does so maybe I'm just not hearing the new stuff well enough yet.
I'm to the Goodwill today. I don't really need anything but that won't stop me from shopping. I do need to drop off my donations. I might combine the trip with lunch out. Maybe.
I just remembered the World Series game tonight... wonder if I'll remember tonight?
