Wednesday

It is 9:30 am and I am still here dicking around on the internet. Geesh. I need to get off my ass and get doing something else! But not yet.

After days of having the pool to myself, this morning it was full. All regulars so fun. There's one lady who jogs. I mean literally, she bounce runs up and down the lane for a mile! Even as I'm swimming next to her in the other half of the lane, I'm exhausted just watching her burn up that energy. It's kind of amazing.

I took the new way home again today and that massively scary circular exit ramp was a little easier today. Hopefully, it will get easier every day. It shaves a good 20% off my ride home and shaves %50 of the stress.

Also my finger did not hurt at all. I changed the bandage yesterday and man, did I do a number on it. It's like a bowl dug out of the center of that finger's pad. Yikes. Who knew tiny house work could be so dangerous?

I just got a notice from UPS that a package from Amazon will be delivered tomorrow. The thing is, I don't know what it is. I have two packages coming from Amazon tomorrow but Amazon says they are being delivered by their own carriers. And that's all that's listed in my Orders list as undelivered. So... mystery!!

Also tomorrow, new washer!

Also tomorrow, the first baseball game of the season!

Today, however, is nothing fancy. The kitchen needs a clean up. The trash/garbage needs a ride down to the dumpsters. I need to get dressed. And tiny stuff.

Crossing the line... there's no hope now

Yesterday I got really frustrated with a fiddly light fixture and pulled out the glue gun. I hate the glue gun because it's always such a mess and a bother but the other glue was not working.

And I was right about the glue gun. Mess. Bother. and didn't even work that well.

But, today, another set of things that were just not cooperating. So I pulled out the glue gun again. This time I had better luck. But holy crap. There was still a giant mess of glue gun strings. So I fired up Google and studied up on glue gun technique.

Slippery slope, you now have me totally.

Also, I'm getting more creative. I follow the instructions until it just makes no sense. I was trying to glue (regular not hot) down some lace curtains when all of a sudden it occurred to me that this was nuts. I got a needle and thread and did a way better, easier job of it. And used some of my own lace trim because theirs was not as nice.

Progress.

But so messy. Finally I had to stop just to clean up the mess.

Korean ribs from Costco for dinner.
