This morning started off with a bloody nose which was lovely. Actually it reminded me that I haven't had one in a while. I went through a couple of years of having them frequently but the past year or so have been pretty much bloody nose free which I guess I just did not appreciate enough.

It put me a bit behind in getting to the pool but that was OK. I still had a wonderful swim. And figured out the solution to a sewing problem while I was 'lapping'.

The movie I have my eye on starts at 11:30. I need to be at the bus stop at 11:04 (or 20 minutes before that if I want to catch the earlier one and be very sure of not missing the kick off). I don't think I'm up for it today. I have a couple of weeks with that option on the table so no rush.

Today I think I'll do the usual... a little sewing... a little knitting... a little TV and a little baseball.

Just what I needed

I needed a better way to prop up my big tablet so I made this:

The fabric is a kids pajama shirt I picked up at Goodwill because well purple and monkeys! It's stuffed with the batting from the ironing mat I disassembled last week and weighted down with some old aquarium rocks I found when I was looking for something else.

It's exactly what I needed at the angle is perfect for what I wanted. I'm way more proud than is warranted.

I think I'll make a smaller one for my phone.
