Tonight we are going to the Cheese Cake Factory. I've told them that tonight's dinner has been decided and planned and they will like it and that's all they are going to know until we get there. I have written out a note giving them Julie's name and asking them for their birthday dessert for her even if she and Scott say no thank you to dessert.
That's all the plans for today but who knows what will happen. Scott and Julie are just the perfect guests. They love everything you suggest, they are happy to tell you want they want and don't want (except they never don't want) and are just the easiest, get along, go along, isn't this all outstanding??? people you ever want to meet. They are up for anything and everything. I'm having such a good time enjoying their good time!
I was exhausted last night and decided before I fell asleep that if, when the alarm went off this morning, I was asleep, I'd just roll over and donate today's swim to someone else. But, I actually woke up 5 minutes before the alarm and decided to go ahead and swim. My tracker thinks I'm back on performance enhancing drugs. I have doubled my steps since Tuesday. I was glad I swam but I did bail about 10 laps earlier than usual.
I took toothpaste to the paint scratches on the car and got most of it off. Whew. There is one spot about the size of a pencil eraser, where the pain actual chipped off to metal and there's nothing I can do about that but the rest looks much better. But, now, the shot gun seat's window won't go all the way up. That is going to be a PIA but, at least it's not my fault.
We probably won't even use the car today but tomorrow we will for sure. I'll sure be glad to get my own car back.
